Its really disgusting how modeling agencies think that you have to be under 100lbs, and so thin you can slip out of prison bars in order to work for them. Modeling shouldn’t be about your body size, but about your smile, and the feelings you can bring from your image and to the viewer. Most models I see in magazines look like they’ve been starving themselves for weeks so they could be used in a photo shoot. So much for ‘natural beauty’ as most photographers call it. Lets try cotton ball lunches for the past three weeks =__=;;
And we wonder why little girls grow up thinking, and asking if they are good enough. Yes sweetie, your fine just how you are. I don’t see the point in trying to make yourself something your not. If you love to color your hair odd colors, then so be it. If you think your a bit over weight, look at yourself i the mirror, and ask yourself ‘Why do I think this?’ ‘Should I lose some weight?’ ‘Why am I wanting to lose this weight, is it for me, or for others to think I’m pretty?’
You are fine just the way you are! If you want to lose weight, do it because you want too, not because someone is telling you too. I am 135(ish)lbs, and my goal is to lose 5lbs my April. Why? Because I want too. Not for anyone else. I’m active in horse back riding, and I love to go for walks. My goal is not to lose weight, but to gain energy. Easiest way to gain energy is not by eating sugar, but by working out and staying active. If I don’t lose the weight, then so be it. As long as I get more energy, and boost my immune system by excising everyday, then I’ll be happy.
What are a few of your goals?
